Anyone else call Red XIII 'Nanaki'?

I also wanted to call him Failed Experiment, but maybe it was too cruel.
(+ I think the name is too long)

First time through I called him Red XIII. But the second time through (thx to ps2 Slim, off topic, did anyone get a ps2 Slim and got there ps1 game files corrupted if they tried saving?) I called him Nanaki because it seamed logical (except for “Nanaki is Nanaki, that is his name” :confused: adding some humor..... w/e).

It's funny how he clearly states that Red XIII is a name that has no meaning, so the group ends up calling him it anyways. Plus Hojo gave him that name, and well, he's a jerk.

In conclusion, calling him Nanaki just seams to be the right thing to do, in my opinion.

i tried calling him Lil Puppy. it wasn't as funny as i thought it'd be but it was alright. got a giggle in or two.

i DID name Cloud "Sephiroth" though. that was funny haha.

Red was as well. Hojo gave him a specimen tattoo; we never get to know what he did to him, if anything. Nanaki doesn't seem much willing to talk about it.

Red was as well. Hojo gave him a specimen tattoo; we never get to know what he did to him, if anything. Nanaki doesn't seem much willing to talk about it.

but hojo called red a specimen not an a experiment and i think all hojo has red for was to have a kid with aires (sick man)

Sick indeed. But i also hear that he was used to test stress or somthing with Aerith. Which is it?

The reason Hojo wanted to breed Aeri[s/th] with Red is that he knew Red's specie, whatever it may be, had immense longevity. Hojo hoped that the offspring would have the same Ancient properties as Aeri[s/th], but would be able to last the 120 years it would take to complete the research.
