You thought football was more popular than football? I know what you mean but you need to be smacked for not saying soccer in a Football thread!

Also the Superbowl is the #1 rated Television event in the United States every year. Over a 1/3rd of the country watches it. That is huge. I am not sure how well the world cup does for its final game though. Any one have numbers?

That said the calls were bad here and there but not so much that the Seahawks couldn't win. They defeated themselves. They had so many chances and they could not get the job done. Steelers got lucky.

Yep. No one here really gave a . The US has its own Soccer league also but no one really knows about it and then the small % of people who do know about...probably half don't give damn about it. I have never seen one of their games televised either...even on ESPN I have never seen it. Poker is televised on ESPN. That is how low soccer is in the USA.
