well i was thinking a cardinal number is something to do with a set, and a collection of celestial bodies could mean stars, so im thinking of something to do with adding a male figure (laguna) to a set of stars (the player character cards). Is this along the right lines? Is it the card game with ellone where you can win the Laguna card?

Well three would bring Laguna's manliness scale back up to 0. The skywalk is running along the skyways in Esthar to go meet Laguna (normally only viewed in an alternate timeline) whom you've gotta play for Squall's card which refines into three Three Stars. (Or defeat Omega Weapon for one, whichever you prefer)

Now, when you say "like in a text message" I'm thinking either a) translated to the numbers corresponding to those letters on a phone, i.e. 5477 968 for "kiss you", or b) some kind of text message abbreviations. For "kiss you" this might be, for example, "kiss u", or "x u" (x as in "xoxo" :p)
"U" is, at least in the abbreviation R=U, representative of Ultimecia. Which brings us back to sorceresses. :grumble:

It's been very long since I played, so I don't remember what card that is, and my reasoning might have its faults. I'm thinking the first five lines might refer to the informer in Timber, who you say a secret word too (the fourth line referring to this word, the three first referring to other alternatives possibly?). Anyway, if you say this word, s/he might tell you which drinks (line six) to give the guy to get him to move, or something like that.
I feel like I'm way off, but you have to start somewhere :)

The enemies are not definite, i.e. all of them could possibly be exchanged for others.
The answer for the riddle is the answer all the lines have in common, or rather a representation of it.
That should be enough hints for a while. ;)
