To answer your question Hazzard, it's not important to the story, and it's name is never mentioned verbally in the game. And it's not the Gummi Ship, or anything to with it.

You have the riddle basically correct now Beowulf, except the word "parting", which doesn't quite fit with the answer (but is certainly very close, the word I'm looking for is very similar to 'confluence', but is its natural opposite).
...And the last line, which should just be 'A complement to the green hue' (which is red on the colour paint wheel), but we already know that, so you can disregard the last line now, as all it gave was the fact the answer is red.

Well it has to be kairi's heart because of a couple reasons.
1. she has red hair, and a red heart.
2. she has to do with sora or riku (mostly sora.)
3. if you put the pieces together kairi's heart is need to open the "Door" but you also need the keyhole if im right. and legend has it that the key bearer is either giving chaos or bringing peace and if you look at the riddle the first one its probably the legend that says the key bearer will bring peace. the second one is probably the key bearer will bring chaos to this world. ( It mostly relates to the key bearer but a little to kairi because she is needed to open the "Door".
4. Kairi's heart was lost so sora and riku probably thought that all hope was lost.
so thats all I got if thats not it I give up. :p

(When i said the answer 'End of the World' was extremely close in a way, it's because Ragnarok is the name of the Apocalypse in Norse mythology.)
