The "manliness scale" and "different time" have gotta be a reference to the Laguna dreams, but the rest of the riddle is a bit of a toughie at the moment.

well, I say it's after ultimecia possesses rinoa to release adel, and lunar cry begins (celestial bodies), then they bump into the ragnarok and have to go clear out monsters the way laguna cleared out monsters from winhill.
