The Placebo version of Running Up That Hill... keep coming back to it :@
They Might Be Giants - I Palindrome I.
This is one of the most disturbing Upbeat songs I've heard.
DJ Shadow - I've Been Trying
DJ Shadow ft. Yukimi Nagano - Scale it Back
His new album drops tomorrow.
A Stranger :: A Perfect Circle
Yiruma - The Sunbeams They Scatter... - YouTube
mmmmmmf.
Spoilers, next song is Hiromi - Live Rape Face
Agalloch - [Marrow of the Spirit #04] Black Lake Niðstång
This whole album is a goddamn masterpiece but this song is definitely the pièce de résistance. Will be ripping my vinyl edition of this soon. I got the clear edition (which feels like it was pressed on 200-gram vinyl, though I can't remember for sure) and it looks lovely. They included a 12-page 12"x12" booklet which is printed on pretty heavy paper as well. Profound Lore definitely doesn't scrimp on their vinyl editions.
Super Junior( super junior - Bonamana
The Black Dahlia Murder - The Raven
These guys just keep getting better and better. Kings of the current death metal scene.
Eyes on Fire :: Blue Foundation (Zed's Dead Remix)
I seek- wubwubwubwubwubwubwub
Sup Nikki Stanley.
Glad to see that it's infected your brain. It's addictive!
The Madcapsule Markets - Midi Surf
EDIT: Don't shoot me, an edit skates by the rules!
I know it's not groundbreaking, but I love their groove and their use of atonal melodies. I'm eating this up!
Nemertines - Self Criticism
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1f59...eature=related
^^ :whoa: Ok, so I don't listen to Tears for Fears... but if you do... that might mean you listen to Spock's Beard (Nick D'Virgilio plays with TFF a lot), and if you do, that's awesome
Still of the Night :: Whitesnake
I can't help it, it's infected my brain. In my defense I usually stop listening after the first 3 minutes or so.
You don't have to apologize for Whitesnake with me around. I'm a hair band junkie.
Bad Religion - Shattered Faith
Hiromi can go suck it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQrGRR6Su4E
I'm hot.
Cavalettas :: The Mars Volta
Dreams by We Came As Romans.
I haven't really got around to listening to their new album, unfortunately.
Paramore - Playing God
hahaha an Awesome one Music Video,
Hayley kill all member of Paramore..
Gustav Holst - Neptune, the Mystic
The Planets Suite is just a complete classic all around
The Bedlam in Goliath is literally just musician porn, drumming especially.
Last time there was a new thread BoB just merged it with the old one anyway xD
Back To The Same Place ~ Broken Vision.
They're some teen band that played a gig somewhere I was working a while back. For giving the frontman a strawberry, I got a free copy of their album. They're actually not half bad.
The Riddle threads always get capped at 40 pages, with 50posts per page. This thread is at page 225. Guess BoB likes his threads big.
FLY HIGH - YouTube
favourite song of all time, and also a brilliant hangover cure
Touhikario - An Café
Song Of Storms Dubstep Remix | Ephixa
Wub wub wub
I currently have my playlist "Seasons and Planets" on. It's for when I want to listen to not just any orchestral, but specifically Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Holst's Planets, the two best suites ever. I have it on random, and the current track is Neptune, my favorite of the planets because of what it makes me feel when I listen to it. Incidentally, right before it was Winter, my favorite of the seasons.
Listening to a playlist consisting of Alan Parsons Project's Eye In The Sky album.
Currently playing: Silence and I
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - The Death Of You And Me - YouTube
Pretty excited for this album actually.
One Must Fall 2097 Main Theme - YouTube
On repeat
I am now listening to his album (and have been for the past few days). I mean, not right now, although I seem to have picked up on the songs so well that they are on shuffle in my head and I listen to them by memory all day. >=]
Best songs from his album (which is called '+'): You Need Me I Don't Need You (epic), The A Team ("best British song of the year"), Small Bump (very touching), Wake Me Up, Drunk, Lego House and U.N.I.
Final Fantasy VIII OST- The Extreme, epic.
Ephixa, I approve.
DJ Ravine's Will it Blend...AGAIN!?!?!? - YouTube
August Burns Red - Internal Cannon (Official Video) - YouTube
Pretty decent band. I like the Spanish guitar stuff.
:monster:
Switched off classical for a change to a bit more prog rock/metal playlist now. The past few tracks have some of the most beautifully oustanding guitar solos I've heard.
The Spirit Carries On
Hollow Years
The Ministry of Lost Souls
The Count of Tuscany (part 2)
For the Love of God
Beethoven's Nightmare
Gunslinger
Comfortably Numb
Time
November Rain
The Browning - Ashamed
wub wub, blast beat, breakdown wub wub
Natsukoi natsuGAME - An Café
11am :: Incubus
http://www.youtube.com/user/neworleansbingoshow?feature=grec_index#p/a/u/0/yOJQ0FTBFeY
I love both of these bands but I REALLY love Clint Maedgen. I was going to see him and New Orleans Bingo Show for my birthday but the trouts was sold out. Mega Sad.
AA= AiD - We're not alone - YouTube
Bass player from the Mad Capsule Markets new band, they made this collaboration with a bunch of other Japanese musicians as part of an aid effort for the whole earthquake and trout. Love the song so much, especially seeing as the singer from Dragon Ash is in it, MCM and DA two of my favourite bands so seeing the guys collaborate is awesome.
"My Jeans" by Jenna Rose
George Winston - [Winter into Spring #05] Rain
I hate the stupid labelling of music like this with "new age," a movement this really has basically nothing to do with. This song evokes its title better than just about anything I've heard. Utterly masterful.
I just love how crazy this song is.
Caravan Palace - Bambous
I was listening to their album when I was at the store and this song came up and I'm like "what the smurf is this trout! ... I love it!"
Just Rocking out to The Loaf.
Meat Loaf-Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad - YouTube
Radiohead - The Butcher
Pretty pleased that I managed to snag a copy of this 12" in a store, I thought they were limited to Record Store Day only.
Wires and the Concept of Breathing - A Skylit Drive.
Haha, I'm not surprised. Out of everyone here I figured you'd be the most likely to like the band, based on what little I know about your music taste.
I'm still a GJ fan!
Grace Jones - I've Done It Again - YouTube
Frank Zappa - The Grand Wazoo
Volumes :: The Edge Of The Earth
Backstreet Boys - Drowning
I saw Volumes a few weeks back and they were decent, but frankly, Structures put them to shame.
Both were shamed by The Contortionist at the same show. It was a good time.
Kylie Minogue - Get Outta My Way
I forget sometimes how much I love Kylie Minogue. I'm also listening to the song I'll be singing for the karaoke competition, but I have to keep that a secret. :shifty:
We Go To War :: The Memorials
I've been listening to a whole lot of dubstep lately. I resisted it, and now I let it flow over me. It's awesome.
Join us Clo. Dubstep is your friend.
Jungle Music > Dubstep.
Remarc & Lewi Cifer - Cape Fear - YouTube
I've been listening to Wooden Heart by Listener. Good stuff.
What Is Love by Haddaway, Rocket Man by Elton John, and This Love by Maroon 5 are all stuck in my head today. Not necessarily simul... they're just... there.
Wolves in the Throne Room - [Celestial Lineage #01] Thuja Magus Imperium
This amazing album only sounds even better on vinyl. Apparently this won't be their last album after all, which is good news, although they're apparently going to shift styles somewhat on their next release. Kind of interested to hear what they come up with next.
Bloodbeat - Patrick Wolf
Lycanthropy is still my least favorite album of his, but it gets better with each listen. So maybe one day I'll like it way more, and it'll be my favorite, who really knows? My mind is prone to changing.
I do not know if I will be able to, but I would like to see them. I've been extremely busy with school stuff though, so I don't know if I will be able to in the end.
I guess to continue with the theme of the thread, I've been listening to the Illinoise album by Sufjan Stevens off and on all day.
Oh, Kalmah, how I love thee.
Kalmah - Heroes To Us - YouTube
Levian already posted this, but SERIOUSLY Caravan Palace is the best thing I've been listening to recently. Caravan Palace - Bambous - YouTube
The Polyphonic Spree - Light & Day/Reach for the Sun
Drudkh ~ Distant Cries of Cranes
First time listening to Microcosmos since I kinda stopped listening to music altogether just as this was being released. Didn't take me long to get impressed by this album at all.
Madonna - Justify My Love (The Beast Within Mix)
Still one of the best things she's ever done in my opinion.
Let's see Lady Gaga do a song like this, instead of going with the overdone Judas bit. :|
Cygnus....Vismund Cygnus :: The Mars Volta
MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS are today's discovery.
Gotta love two bands already posted by others: The Mars Volta and The Polyphonic Spree.
Atlas Sound - Modern Aquatic Nightsongs (Off his brand new album, Parallax)
This followed by all of this for nostalgia purposes.
Rebecca Black - "My Moment"
Krallice - [Diotima #05] Litany of Regrets
This song apparently annoys the piss out of some people because of the constant staccato guitar. I love it.
And yeah TMV are great. I wish they didn't clip the hell out of their recordings but whatever, I have Audacity to fix that.
'sup CloudDragon, how's things?
Enslaved - Return to Yggdrasil
Viking/Black Metal. :hattip:

^_________^
One of my own songs. :P

It might be girly, but I love it soooo much.
Kate Bush - 50 Words for Snow (title track from her new album, which is awesome)
Right this second I'm listening to Devin Townsend -- Blackberry thanks to Flying Arrow
You think so? I didn't really fall for the new album, but I need to listen more to it. The Dreaming forever ♥
Listening to The Roots Ft. Big KRIT - Make My. Looove this track.
Well I've never heard her other albums, but 50 Words captivated me from the start - I heard an excerpt from Lake Tahoe on the radio and decided to get it, and I wasn't disappointed. Tracks like Snowflake and Wild Man are really awesome. I would say it's 4 star album. Give it another listen and see what you think, I found there was majesty in the understated, sparse arrangements.
Steve Hackett - Nomads the second track from his new album Out of the Tunnel's Mouth. I just listened to the first track "Fire on the Moon." I don't really know what I was expecting from this album, but the first track was much darker than I expected, and Nomads is an acoustic number which leads into an aggressive electric guitar solo. But the album features Chris Squire on the first two tracks and Anthony Phillips from the original Genesis line-up, so that's good enough for me.
EDIT: Now I'm listening to this live version of Yes' "Yours is no Disgrace" on Youtube from their live album Yessongs.
The Trashwomen - Perversion
Great all-girl surf garage punk.
The Doors - The End.
In an old school mood.
...We really need a hipster smiley.
The White Stripes - We're Going to be Friends
My Bloody Valentine - Never Say Goodbye
WELL I AIN'T NO NEW MESSIAH
BUT I'M CLOSE ENOUGH FOR ROCK N' ROLL
If you don't like .38 special then I don't like you.
Today's track roll:
Ben Folds & Beck
Right this moment listening to Beck - Girl
Going to be a rebel and post a few. If you don't already know Intronaut, you're welcome. Pay close attention to Uneven Structure and Gru. I think they're going to be groups to watch after their very strong albums recently.
Being - DNA
Uneven Structure- Frost
Gru - Andromeda
Intronaut - Australopithecus
I'm listening to a song called "Sprite Rip" by _ensnare_. I have no idea who this guy is or how this album ended up in my playlist but damn if this isn't some glorious chiptune music right here, you guys.
近藤浩治 - [The Legend of Zelda: 25th Anniversary Symphony #07] The Legend of Zelda (Main Theme medley)
This being bundled with Skyward Sword is one of the coolest bonuses ever. Already addicted to this CD and this is only my second play of it.
@top of page, Yes and Steve Hackett are pretty cool.
Stan SB, his mix of pure mastery.
Liquicity Livemix : Stan SB - YouTube
I have recently discovered that chionos doesn't like .38 special.

Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay | Playing For Change - YouTube
I seriously cannot articulate how happy this makes me. It is basically a bunch of street musicians from around the world, and some music producer got them to record a bunch of songs and mixed them all together. All of the songs they've done are amazing, and I could listen to them forever. I definitely recommend checking it out at least once, you won't regret it.
That makes my heart feel all tingly. Such a great idea! I have to see this documentary now. It seriously sounds like they're all playing at the same time and place.
Stand by Me - Playing for Change
That is one of the most awesome things I have seen in ages.
