They discussed it if they should keep it the same or not. But in the end they asked Amano to draw something and that's the result. After all, the DS remake is the "New Final Fantasy IV", so a new Logo is fitting.

XII's one is awesome, and then VII.

I didn't like the original FFIV logo, the new is much better!!!
I don't know if I'll like the new FFV and VI...or VII;)

FFXIII's the my favorite, followed by X. None of the others' are great especially FFVII and FFIX.

i like IX the best but VIII and X look eye catching and clear too

I really like X and XII

i'm fond of them all but judge gabranth logo for XII is my fave

I like XII's close 2nd is V.

I like III b/c it incorporates the title "T" but I guess you can only do so many of those. Still, like the dragon's tale or smthng else could have been used. As a separate illustration alone, my fav is XIII:p

I like FFII and FFIII's original logos, with the flourishy gold letters.

the new FFs have huge logo arts but FFXII's is just awesome
