Yeah, I noticed that Kain is spelled Cain in the mags. I figure it was something not too far off from the whole Cefca/Kefka thing so I wouldn't think too much about it.
Anyone else thinks it's interesting that DK Cecil removes his visor from time to time while Kain doesn't? Just pointing out the symbolism;)
Eh, the more I look at these models the more I don't like them. I mean, compare those pictures of Rydia and Yang to the latest Crystal Chronicles game. The texturing doesn't look anywhere near as detailed.
Eh, maybe they'll improve it for the final game.

When I look at CC RoF's character models, than at IV's...
IV's win. More detailed, more realistic and very fitting for IV. Maybe it's because you're looking at unclear scans here, but just check out the official site. The amount of detail on, say... Paladin Cecil is quite impressive, the same goes for Rosa.
But oh well, there always has to be someone to complain, so I'm not saying anything.
Yeah, the official does give a better impression of what the designs will look like in game. The models are impressive from a design perspective but they just don't seem to have a whole load of definition. They don't really seem to have put as much thought into lighting/shading as the more cellshaded-esk CC designs, which makes the detail harder to decipher.

Yes, that's Fabul. Apparently, when you open the menu, you can see something like the thoughts of the character currently leading your party (you remember you could choose who you walk around with).
Something like talking with the sub-characters in FF III.
I believe in those screen, Rosa comments about Fabul looking old or something, and Edward wonders if he can become strong. That's what they translated on gamespot, anyway.

My greatest fears about Final Fantasy IV have been put to rest and replaced with sheer anticipation and excitement over the last couple of days. I can't wait.

Although in the Video Elpizo posted three posts up, The party was Kain, Cecil, Rosa, Cid and Child Rydia. I'm guessing that it was just because it was a tech demo thingy kinda. If it's not just a tech demo thingy then that means that Rydia stays as a child for longer. Although it looked like she was about to Summon Leviathan. However I may have just not been looking closely and it may have been Adult Rydia, though if that's the case then they must be including the ability to change party members again. Thoughts, Ideas? DISCUSS!!
The party set-up was just for the TGS demo. The Mist Cave was also swapped with the Antlion Cave for this purpose.
