they all seem to hate it, unwilling to change filesize limits and planning to say no no matter how well it takes off.

The increased use of annoying animated .gifs is pretty much making the decision for us though.

I'll be keeping my avatar the same because I use the same size on every other forum I go to and I also have variations that I would also have to redo. It has nothing to do with being a stickler. I really do encourage you all to go to the increased size, and not use annoying animations. It would be less work for me that way because I'll probably be the one who has to switch all the user groups back if we do go back.

I've only seen two new .gifs so far, and that's Allie's and Aaron's. It's not like that's even very relevant to the avatar size, since one can have annoying .gifs at pretty much any size. The rest of the new .gifs belong to those who already had animated avatars to begin with. :p

It really wouldn't make that much of a difference as long as they aren't making said gifs for the reason of being obnoxious and annoying-- I'd condone temp avatar bans for that, not like I could. :p

I actually was using this before the file size increase; it just got mangled a little more

and he's waaaaaay too happy to be annoying! ^_^

i think he's ugly :p sorry, rubah (and yes, i know my avatar is worse) i don't hate the avatar...just the guy in it :D but on the plus side, your sig is mega awesome, so that makes up for it; Pulp Fiction ftw! :bigsmile:
