lom, I have the same problem when I first get ePSXe, I don't remember what I did exactly, but I think it involved downloading plug-ins or something. Look for something like an FAQ at the place you got the emulator.

Use Eternal SPU sound plugin and you'll be fine.

Well the sound plug-in is good, but why does it need to mess up my screen when I to alt+tab? Is there any way to not have it full screen?

Uuumm, I think the default is alt + enter to toggle between windowed and full screen. Make sure your dimensions are sent how you want :p
Use P.E.Op.S. video plugin and choose the window mode.

AK it's as easy as changing your window, assuming your using ePSXe it's so easy I can figure it out.

My window is on 800x600, which is only one step higher as the original, and already it only takes up 1/6 of my screen.
