Freya - because a party's got to have a bit of maturity, common sense, and a lancer.

Cyan (FF6): Cyan would cover the physical combat area with his great sword techniques
Palom (FF4): Black mage, takes care of all black magic
Porom (FF4): White Mage, heals the party

Rydia - I like callers, and she is cute when grow up.
Celes - She is great both in magic and fighting skills. And she is hot.

Nanaki/RED XIII- He attacks with his hairpin, you guys! That's just cool. Plus, he is just cool

Team Captain-Garland-The Original. The Manipulator.
Co-Captain-Kuja-Poetic. Creepy. So brave he isn't scared to wear a purple thong in public.
Lich-Fiend of Earth. Uses Nuke/Flare. Sooooo cool.
Ozma-A giant, swirling sphere of dead Eidolons, what could be cooler?
