I think FiragO is the one one who said that people who got scores like 10,000 hacked into the computer. Oh and kireiBlood the website only shows scores for low resolution.

on my pc who got a score of like 1200 on low i got like 700 something on high....and it wasnt nearly playable...i doubt an extra 200 woudl do that much fo a difference, esepecially when peoplee are sayign they got in thousands in high res
I have a Dell that i picked out the parts for and i got 5500.
Stats.
Pentium 4 2.40GHZ
512 Mb ram
Radeon 9700 Pro
120 gig hd
24' flat screen monitor
and forgot what rest was or were to find it.
is 3000 low good and 2400 high?
its above average...
You can play....without any problems.
My scores were only a little higher than that.
If I can't play with a Nvidia GeForceFX 5600, then by god, nobody can... unless they have a better card. >.>
Hm, I get an error upon running the file.
Err Code = 2000
Direct3D(jibberish ....)(-1)
So, uh, any recommendations?
I got that till I bought new Video card
According to the US Playonline/FFXI site, anything under 1200 means your computer can't handle it. Or was it 1300?
Anyways, if you're over 1400, you'll be able to run the game.
^_^
I scored a 1478 I think.
Hm, well, the error still continues, and it happens on all three of the computers available to me.
The video card I use isn't that old, less than a year old. It's not the most up to date, but it isn't terrible, either. It's a 64MB Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller.
I believe that should be fine to run it, no?
It also seems that my card cannot support T&L, much like that used in Star Wars Galaxies. I'm to understand that this gives an error with Direct 3D.
However, my card is compatible with Direct X, and so, can someone tell me if the Graphics Card is in control of T&L, or is it the Processor, in FFXI?
Also, if someone could tell me, if the Bench will not run on my computer, does that, for a fact, mean FFXI won't?
but is the minimun going to be any fun to play under....itll look gay prob and slow down prob
1024 x 768 resolution, I got 2086. I'm too lazy right now to run it through again, but I had Winamp, IRC, AIM, Y!M and EoFF all running in the background. Oh, and my LJ client and my TV Program. I'll check it out with all that stuff turned off (or at least most of it, seeing as I'll probably have some on during the game anyway) later on.
My system? Uh... *checks*
XP Home
AMD Athlon 1800 (1.53GHz)
256MB DDR RAM
GeForce2 with 32MB
Broadband Cable (Telewest, for any UK'ers in the know)
Considering upgrading the RAM / Video card sometime, but I just had a hit to my finances so we'll see how I go.
I also got the error message what does it mean?
I got a 3826 on low-res and a 2621 on Hi-res with the new driver for the Geforce Go5600 card.
Unfortunately, it means you're, more likely than not, not going to be able to run the game.Quote:

Maybe you should invest in a new Graphics card. I'd suggest Best Buy, or a local shop, for such things.
Good luck.
Ah, and I hit about an average of 1900 with:
Celeron 2.0Ghz
30 Gigabytes Free
256 MB DDR RAM
PNY Geforce FX 5200 128 DDR MB RAM PCI
Kinda strange how some o' you with equal/lower specs are getting a higher score than I am. >>;
