I'm going to buy groceries soon, and every time I go, I always buy the pre-made stuff. I really should force myself to learn how to cook new stuff.
Leeza's ribs stuff is going to help :D
The trick to ribs is to boil them under low, low heat for as long as you want it to take. The more it boils, the more tender it's going to be. Then take the ribs out of the boiling water, and put a marinade on it (a hickory bbq sauce or something), and put it in the fridge overnight. Then put it on the bbq and let it cook to perfection.
Have you ever cooked a pot before?
yep!
i can cook fried rice and 2 min noodles!
If I'm actually paying attention (i.e. not on the computer while the food is cooking), I can cook pretty much any simple meal. Steaks, patties, pork chops, chicken legs/breasts, Roasted chicken, noodles, green beans, beans and carrots, mashed potatoes (instant or not), fries, sauté'd potatoes, pizza, pancackes (from mix), thin pancakes (from scratch) and a few cakes if I ask for the receipe to my grandmother. And most likely some other stuff I can't remember right now.
If I'm on the computer, I can make a pretty bad hamburger patty (overcooked) and noodles (too watery or stuck into a pancake).
Never tried beer batter pancakes though. That said, if it was me, I'd use Rhum or cider, and make them thin pancakes.
I cooked food today.
