Vivi vs Montblanc is a great fight!
Not buying into popularity, I'm going to go with Montblanc for 3,000, as Vivi can be clumsy at times. Long live the moogles!

What job is Montblanc using? And since when can characters dodge magic in any of the games?

If you'll look at the first post I made, this is fantastical realism, as in they can use the moves they have in the games, but its more realistic, as in if you get hit by Firaga you'll probably get hurt pretty badly, if not killed. But the flip side to that is everything can be dodged.
Montblanc is using the Black Mage base class with Time Magic as secondary.
Oh yes, and there will be no fight tonight due to having to work early tomorrow and work late tonight.

The gates opened once again admitting two more combatants onto the field. One was a small, humanoid being dressed in a large straw hat and blue robes with red trimming. Only two glowing eyes could be seen from beneath the hat, his face was totally black, although whether that was his real face or it was just obscured by the mask was unsure.
The other figure was (somehow) considerably shorter than the humanoid. It was a moogle, with darker fur, a green shirt and pink pants. Both figures held short staves at the ready.
"Our next battle is a duel between Black Mages. Please, welcome to the field Vivi and Montblanc! BEGIN!"
"Firaga!" Vivi shouted, conjuring a massive wave of flame and hurling it at Montblanc.
"Blizzaga!" Montblanc yelled in reply, hurling his ice magic at the oncoming flames. The spells cancelled each other out, leaving behind nothing but a dense wall of steam.
As the steam cleared, Montblanc's piping voice could be heard.
"Haste!"
The battlefield once again became visible and Montblanc zipped around Vivi on his magically quickened legs.
"Thundaga!" he yelled, hurling a torrent of lightning bolts at Vivi.
Vivi ducked to the ground, the bolts flying harmlessly over him.
"Meteor!" he cried.
Several massive chunks of earth flew from the sky, hurtling towards Montblanc. However, with the haste spell in effect, Montblanc dodged them with little problem.
"Flare!" Vivi yelled, a massive burst of magical energy forming in his palm and hurtling towards Montblanc.
"Reflect!" Montblanc yelled in response.
A magical shield formed around him, causing the magical attack to bounce off his shield and move towards Vivi. Desperately, Vivi got to his feet and moved to the side.
"Thundaga!" Montblanc howled, once again sending lightning bolts arcing towards Vivi. This time Vivi couldn't move fast enough and was struck dead on. For a moment, he stood there before his body fell to the ground and began twitching as the White Mage and Cleric team scrambled to his aid.

I've seen the Princess of Moonbrooke refered to as Varia, and thus I am using that as her name for this.
The gates opened once again and two more figures emerged. One was a woman, with blonde hair and white robes. She wore a pink hood, and carried a staff with a red crystal orb mounted on top of it. The other was a mustached warrior in a pink breastplate, with a red cloak and a red plume atop his helmet. At his side was belted a sword, battle-worn and formidable.
"The next fight is between Varia, the Princess of Moonbrooke, and the warrior Ragnar! BEGIN!"
Ragnar drew his sword and grasped it in both hands, charging forward with the blade held low. Varia closed her eyes and gathered mystic force about her.
"Infernos!" she yelled, calling forth a tornado that swept Ragnar away and tossed him backwards. Ragnar hit the ground hard, and Varia was already preparing another spell as he rose shakily to his feet.
"Surround!" she said, a mist appearing around Ragnar, obscuring his vision. A shadowed form could be seen within the mist as Ragnar moved unsteadily around, trying to figure out where he was.
"Explodet!" the Varia shouted, a massive explosion wracking the area where Ragnar stood and blasting him out of the mist and on to the ground.
This time, he did not rise, and lay motionless as the white mage and cleric unit rushed towards him.
