I don't think that you can inherit what Squall has, that comes from several instances that happened during his early life. And even if Raine is a serious character, she was no stoic like Squall is until the end.

Lol. Squall wasn't taking drugs...he's 17. Which explains it all. Hormones, moodiness...all of it.
