Why did you join?

I joined cause of a lack of anithing better to do at that time.

If you want to know the truth, I'd know of this forum for some time before I joined. I joined one day on a mere whim - must have been around this time last year, in fact.

I tried registering here about 3.5-4 years ago... but couldn't, due to some technical problem. So, I let it go.

Then, I came back, a little over 2 years ago (Good God, I'm an oldbie. I think). The reason was simple and very clear to me.

There was a thread about the Israeli-Arab conflict, started by some Black Cobra person of questionable motives and agenda, and he spread lies and generally dissed my country and people. It was really too much for me to tolerate... so, I registered and commented. Lengthly.

I've been frequenting this site ever since... and often, for the same reason - to take part in discussion. I've found this place to be a good place to hold debates with intelligent people from all over the world, with a good moderating team that lets those debates deal themselves out for the most part, but doesn't allow spam and flaming that generally ruin discussions. And that's all I really ask for.

I was looking for Final Fantasy information for my thesis, and I stumbled onto this forum. I thought it was very fun and had something more to it than all the other FF communities around, so I joined.

I joined cos I know a few members and. . . . uh, well. . . I guess I had nothing better to do than add EoFF to the never-ending list of forums I joined.

i was looking for ffx parodies on google and this site poped up and after a few weeks of lurking i decided to join

Came here because Kelly/Rinoabella told me to. And because the people I talked to were pretty cool back then.

Before this gets closed, I'd just like to say that I joined this site to find me a man. Oh yeah.

Also, The Dude should so be a CK. If only for the fact that his chastising of posters who revive dead threads is just so cute.
