As I am, myself, an over-30-year-old English teacher, I would like to point out that not all of us (nor even half of us) have poor grammar skills. I teach English as a second language here in South Korea, and I feel that correct grammar is the most difficult skill to master. It is not the most important aspect of language, though. Communication is. I do try to point out the serious grammar mistakes that my students make, but would never get as nit-picky as the "Grammar Nazis" that have posted in this thread. Have some sympathy for those international members of EoFF who bravely post here despite their grammatical shortcomings. ;)

After the first half-dozen that I found, I stopped looking. Don't feel poorly, though. Like you said, "Everybody makes a mistake once in a while." :D
