Why does everyone hate mindflayers? You only encounter like 1 at a time and their dead before they can even attack. But I really hate Ahriman, I spent like an hour just surviving him and then he Flares my ass.
Cockatrice's when you first meet them. You need luck on your side.
I hate any and all sea monsters. Your just floating along and bam they hit ya out of no where. Darnit! Let me get to Elf Land ALREADY!!
Atomos, too much life and it takes a long-ass time to kill him. (I'm not sure if atomos is in the original this was in dawn of souls for GBA).
