What did you do when Aeris died?

Won 10$. I told my friends Carl and Daniel something along the lines of "You know, this is one big cliché we have here. The heroine runs away from the main group thinking she alone can do something to stop the villain. I bet you 5$ that she'll end up hurt or dead."

Yes, it was my first playthrough. No, Carl and Daniel never accepted to take bets with me again when playing videogames.

Yeah, when you're doing the play, and they ask who your enemy is, reply, "The King". It's quite funny.

I was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Only because I couldn't watch the death scene due to the game freezing always at the specific moment ;;

I knew it was going to happen as I had seen it a while back when my friend played it. When I finally got around to purchasing VII and got to the part of Aeris' death, I remember thinking; "What? This early???. I could've sworn this part happen later on, like, the last disk".

I fought Jenova, and lost so I had to watch it allll over again. :(

Hmm... I just had a thought: maybe that was one of the reasons for her death. It made the game more challenging from that point on. That's certainly not the only reason, but one of them.

I hated Aeris.

I feel a bit sad, and let's face it: there nothing wrong with feeling sad for a video game character, it's actually the exactly same thing as feeling sad for a character in a book.

By the way: oh noes, the title is a huge SPOILER.

One of my best friends Cried i laughed my ass off soooooo hard i was like w00t worst char died i never used her my red XIII was a much better healer hes magic power kicked ass

I just said something like 'oooooookay' and got on with the game

Actually, it kinda made me really mad because she was such a relief as a healer and because I lost my healer, this was the first time I ever wanted to jump into a video game and kick someones butt. But after a few minutes I was like, big deal, its just a game.

Knew it was coming so wasn't that shocked when it did happen so it wasn't as emotional as it may have been for some, was still a pretty powerful moment though.
