Is it possible for someone to make this gif less than 5kb (and keep it at 50x50) while keeping near best quality? I don't mind if you have to remove some frames. I would do it myself but i don't have the necessary software and i tried gifworks but couldn't do it.

I have been playing around trying to shrink her down. And I will continue to do so. But yowzers I can't get her anywhere near the size req thus far[has 46 frames if memory serves, I have been trying to shrink it via reduction in color pallet and reduction in frames but not too much luck thus far, only got it to about 15kb]. Also if anyone is good at making gif's transparent(and if animations can be transparent and I don't see why the couldn't) I would like it transparent. Though it is no big deal if that won't work.
And I must say this just because this is my trademark saying "I hate gif's".

I've thought you might like this. It's small, yet somehow elegant IMO. Transparent too.:)
EDIT: Right. Quite a few edits here. It's not transparent, but I've fitted it for the colour of the plane where the avatars usually are. The problem with transparency is that you get a white circle around the avatar. So if you like it, that's the best I can do.:)

There's actually a way. You can pretty much time different frames differently. The key movement frames are kept short while the, more or less, static frames are set at half the speed. But that barely helps.Quote:

Okay it looks a little big but if you put it in as your avatar it will go smaller again.
I don't think it exceeds the limit.
Also you may want to change it I did my best but I'm not very good I did it with the starter adition also. :)
Its not very good so dont be afraid to not have it.
the pic keeps on exceeding the limit. The limit is 6.0 and it keeps on being around 12.0.

After I shrank Mullet's GIF, I used the Magic Wand Tool to select and clear the GIF's white background in each frame; I selected the background again after it became transparent, then I clicked Edit and Stroke (black/one pixel/outside), and manually cleaned up the black outline created by Stroke (in every frame). I've been looking forever for some good sprite images for pokemon. I've found plenty of good ones, but I don't like that they all have white backgrounds. YO EoFF, I have not a request for an avatar, but need some HELPZ from someone who has the know-how. I don't know nothing 'bout making images and all that jazz right. But, I made my avatar by mucking around with a DangerMouse logo and after time I am satisfied with it. It's transparent and looks good when I post and stuff.
PROBLEM IS: on my profile, or in people's visitor messages and such stuff like that, it's not transparent anymore, just has a white background. WHICH I DON'T LIKE. Now I've noticed other people with transparent GIF images that are still transparent on their profiles and visitor messages.
I don't know what the cause is, if it's just custom GIF's that can't be transparent on profiles/visitor messages or if its just something I did wrong with my image.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
I don't really know, have you tried using the alternate upload method to whatever you previously used (ie. if you uploaded from your computer then try uploading from an image url or vice versa)?

It might be over the filesize limit KD, it's a pretty small limit D:

From what I can tell this tread hasn't been posted on in a while.How do you get a picture to be 40 megapixels by 40 megapixels?Maybe i'm over complicating things but it seems pretty difficult to me.
I use gimp (freeware version of Photoshop) to either crop or scale the image down to size.
