If it nullified half your post, that's half your guesses gone, which is good. I never said some of your ideas were wrong though, I changed the riddle through a fault of mine. Hehe.
I have my theories on what the fault was, I'm just missing a key :p
Theory away. Take some guesses. Without somebody's input, I can't give any output :D
Well my theory is based around that you may have mistaken someone, for example an evangelist (is that an english word?), for an actual disciple.
For example, Mark/Marcus was an evangelist, but not an actual disciple. But he could easily be mistaken for one, right? Realizing that he wasn't you'd have to find another "synonym" for Marcus (still only an example). That's where I'm looking for a key, does Marcus, the name or the person have a connection to "Soul of Turkey"?
If I'm off track now I have no idea where to go. :D
EDIT: By the way, Marcus isn't a guess, just a part of some reasoning.
Hehe....I wouldn't do something as stupid as that...hehe....*blushes and runs*
ok maybe I would....
:D
Keep it up with the link-ness. This riddle has no synonyms or antonyms, the words given are clues to the words that make the answer.

This riddle is really confusing me... damn. I have looked everywhere for something about Turkey, or turkeys and their respective souls. I have looked for something that may have been mistaken for a disciple. I have looked for a phrase from the game that might be the answer. I have looked through all items, key items and equipment to see if there is an item with a name that could be "translated" to the riddle.
I hate to say it, but I need a hint to get anywhere now.
Rantzien, I think you are confused, you listed the Apostles. Dictionary.com meant "any of the original followers of Christ" as any of the original followers of Christ. Not just the ones that traveled with him.
... Yeah, you're right. Hope I didn't misinform PQ to that extent that he would change the riddle because of that misinformation.
I was thinking that's what happened too, heh.
Sorry, guys, I've been researching a cure for Bird Flu. No such luck.
Right. Hints eh?
Hooray! A Soul of Turkey's Board!
You may have noticed that that phrase makes near no sense. Here's the hint:
The answer has 3 syllables, and, like my other riddle, this riddle is in three parts.
Hooray!
A Soul of Turkey's
Board!
Now, remember my confusion. The orgional riddle was Horray! A Disciple's Board!.
The three parts of that riddle are obvious.
Another hint. For one part of the riddle. Think of geographical history. And it's relation to the rest of it's section.
The answer is not a character or monster.
I have the bird flu
I'm gonna guess Cypress pile (Vivi's weapon).
Since you said "geographical history" I thought about Cyprus (Turkey took it over, I think) which sounds like Cypress.
Board could be the same thing as pile.
I have no idea about "Hooray!".
I know, it doesn't sound right at all :p
But we have to make some guesses here people
