Terminus - Dark Tranquility
This track just doesn't get old. Sometimes the simple songs stick with you the most.
SaGa Frontier OST - Battle 5
Still More Fighting - Final Fantasy VII
Actually been trying to learn to play this on guitar.
For the last. Four. Years.
椎名林檎 - [三文ゴシップ #14] 丸の内サディスティック (EXPO Ver.) [3:00]
holy trout
i wish i could find a video of the studio version of "la salle de bain" (i can only find a live version without the orchestra, which is what makes the song). have another song that amazes me every time i listen to it
hard to believe human beings wrote and arranged all this stuff. if anyone knows any other artist similar to these songs and in the same league of artistry please, please let me know.
Queens of the Stone Age - Make it Wit Chu
This song, because my friends and I are going to dance to it for a campus talent show.
Fergie | "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody"
I demand your performance be videotaped.

Chthonic - 亡命關
Whatever that means.
Pegasus-XL - Marathon Mansion
So I got Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD today.
HIM - Ode To Solitude
Sleep - Dopesmoker
Goddamn I love this album so much. So minimalistic, and yet this trout is heavier than your mom after an all-you-can-eat buffet. My eyes are bleeding.
Bambu
Tiye Phoenix
Catwalk Falls - Shaq Fu
Lost Jungle - Shaq Fu
Rita J
L'Orange
@Red Pill: Have you heard that album on vinyl? It's intense.
@Starlet: Thanks for the link, will give that a listen soon.
Skinny Puppy - [Last Rights #05] Inquisition [5:17]
Possibly the only accessible song on a fairly impenetrable album, although I liked it on first listen (which wasn't the case with any of the SP albums I'd listened to before it). Then again there also is this one:
And this one, which is almost a ballad:
Nice rendition of The Walking Dead theme. Takes the original and gives more of a symphonic edge to it while still maintaining the original sound and keeping it recognizable. Good sounding drums mixed in there as well, although I wish the rock part of it was a pronounced and dynamic as the symphonic part.
Makes me feel so energetic.
Love it! It energizes me!
Suzuhana Yuuko w/ Wagakki Band | "Senbonzakura"
Bill Hicks - [Rant in E-Minor #18] Quiet Loner [0:58]
NSFW
Aesop Rock - "Coffee"
I actually haven't listened to anything new in quite awhile. I feel like I have no outlet for discovering new music like I used to. I just try to keep up with the groups I listen to already--but a lot of my favorites have disbanded.
Nonpoint - In the Air Tonight (Phil Collins cover)
Not a bad cover at all. I was looking for the rock version of this song I heard during a Dead Space 3 commercial, but this is the closest I found. Apparently the version I wanted was only made for that commercial.
Substance Abuse "Frontrow"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt7LyWOlSDI
Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks' "Wig Out at Jagbags"
Another classic piece of gold from SM.
Forum noob, here. Where can one find YouTube posting instructions. Thanks! Kupo!
YouTube tags work similarly to the spoiler tags. Just type [*youtube] [/youtube] without the asterisk. put your link in between the tags, and then delete the = and everything before it. So if you have a link that is:
h*ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1x539L_2m7M
Only put the highlighted text in between the tags.
Ent - Farewell Dear Stranger (JacM Remix)
Dead Milkmen - "Lesbian Eskimo Left-Handed Midget Albino"

I can't get enough of this band lately. The music and lyrics really speak to me.
If you're into bands with a progressive metal sound like Periphery, give this a listen.
Disney stuff.
Drudkh - [Кров у наших криницях #04] Самітність [12:20]
sadly these are from the troutty CD version which, well, take a look at the difference in spectral analysis (note the LP rip's sample space goes up to 48 kHz while the CD goes up to 22.05, so it's not a 1:1 comparison)
http://fools-gold.org/aaron/blood%20...ur%20wells.jpg
maybe one of these days i'll upload my vinyl rip to youtube
incidentally this serves as a lesson to update your mp3 encoder; mp3s used to top out at 16 kHz or thereabouts even at the highest bitrate but now they go almost all the way up to 22.05 kHz
Poe - Hello (Rock Version)
Poe - Hey Pretty
I have a deldline to meet so I am blasting some blondie

Amber Gray
Orphan
Longhena
The Chariot - Speak
SOME COOL POST HARDCORE OR WHATEVER YOU COULD CALL THEM
just having some breakfasts (bacon, eggs, fruit juice) and listening to Blondie
Today I randomly thought about a Finnish music video that I don't think I've watched since I initially searched for it in 2006. Not sure where that thought came from.
I have no idea. YouTube recommended it due to me watching the above video. It sounds pretty good.
Entropia - "Vesper"
I'm really digging the 'blackgaze' sub-genre currently.
Gil Scott Heron and Jamie xx - Running
Can't believe I'm just discovering this album now. It's a bold concept, and it could've gone either way. Thankfully it came out on the "incredible" side of things.
You know, I normally dont' like music that comes across as little more then meaningless Fluff. However....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6Sxv-sUYtM
This song isn't really about anything, he's just happy. That is all. Nothing else.
But god dammit it makes me happy.
theset - never odd or even
I watched Grave Encounters 2 the other day and this song played in the credits. Can't get it out of my head.
Twilight Sleep - Unrest
I watched a movie called Devil's Pass and this played in the ending credits.
If you can't tell, i've been binging on "found footage" horror/thriller movies lately.

Hail - [Permafrost #03] Isa - Abeille Noir [15:10]
can't find this on youtube, which isn't a surprise because there were only 30 copies of this album made, but it is a shame because it's a damn masterpiece. hit me up if you want to hear stuff by this band i guess (apart from one of their albums which was released on vinyl, nothing they released had a print run larger than 100 copies)
just sitting around eating biscuits, and listening to blondie
rush
Listening through Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions.
After a few months, and the initial impact wore off, I can still say this is in my top three albums of all time.
Kind of feeling off tonight, so I am listening to a band called Nachtmystium. Specifically, I am listing to their album "Assasins: Black Meddle Pt. 1"
The last three tracks flow together very well and go places this genre of music don't usually go. Be warned, if you aren't a fan of harsher vocals, the third part is going to annoy you. I did find a link that has all three of them rolled into on, but the albums artwork is inappropriate for this forum, so here are three separate links. Give it a listen.
Enslaved - [Live at the Rock Hard Festival - Germany 2008 #02] Fusion of Sense and Earth [5:05]
solid live album from an outrageously consistent band; there's a reason they recently became my most played artist on last.fm
Infinite Potential - Murray Gold
Plays during 11's regeneration
Frank Zappa - Watermelon in Easter Hay
New Order - Age Of Consent
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - [Live 2013-08-06 at UT Connewitz, Leipzig #03] Dead Metheny [14:11]

Wagakki Band | "Tengaku"
Disperse - Living Mirrors
Polish group that take one part progressive metal, one part Pink Floyd, one part djent, and interludes that combine electronica and acoustic pieces with latin influences. No aggressive vocals, which makes it more approachable for some folks.
The Cranberries - Dreams
Swans - [Swans Are Dead #03] Not Alone [13:12]
been completely obsessed with this band since their new album (which is great) leaked in FLAC. so many post-rock bands wouldn't even exist if not for this band
just had some fried eggs and asparagus (excellent btw). cooked it up while listening to some Blondie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8iTFP-hYPk
Hooked on this song at the moment. Not my usual cup of tea but the singer is from my favourite band so it is nice to have something new but familiar to listen too. Their other stuff is decent too, there is one called "joystick" which has a old school gaming sound to it.
I'm listening to the soundtrack of Hatsune Miku playing behind me.
Sander van Doorn - Right Here Right Now (Neon)
:D
Light Your Heart Up - Aimee Blackshleger
I'm addicted to this song. You can't listen to this and be in a bad mood, it's impossible.
