The Incredible True Story of Adventure of Two Girls in Love
4/10
Really awkward campy acting mixed in with unibrow and cliche teen from the wrong tracks meets rich girl from the other side of tracks -- they get together. The only non-cliche thing about it was the fact that it happens to be two lesbians, but you can tell that it's just actresses trying to play lesbians. They don't seem comfortable with it. I'm not sure if that was the fault of the director and actors, or intentional.
Frankie and Alice
5/10
It was alright. I thought Sybil was better.
I bought "9" on Blu-ray the other day, and it's all kinds of awesome. I remember there being a major buzz about the short movie a while back, so I decided to pick up the movie, and I have not regretted it for one minute. It's dark, but joyous. It's adorable, but grim. The entire movie is quite frankly one of the best animated movies I have seen in a long time.

A Complete History of My Sexual Failures
6/10
Really well told documentary. Started off a bit slow in the beginning, but it actually begin to be told in a sort of narrative structure, but kept the raw realism of a documentary. Very hard to keep something interesting and new when it's essentially just about one guy and his issues. However, I think he managed to do it. The camera they used was :bou::bou::bou::bou:, like most cameras used on British films, but hey, if you can get passed that then you'll see a genuinely funny, deranged, and even at times sad portrait of a human being and their relationships with others. The ending was good. Most times when you do a documentary you won't know the ending until the very end, which was probably the case with this one, so it was good that everything seemed to have closure even if it was a bit predictable.
I last watched The Hot Girl starring Rob Schneider. It was pretty stupid, as expected.

Just saw Outrage by Takeshi Kitano. It was a pretty awesome violent portrait of gangstas in Japan.
I haven't "just seen it", but I remembered think "Attack the Gas Station" was a good foreign flick. Not so much even that it's well made, and thought out. Just one of those surreal movies that relies on violence and unusual circumstance. You're entertained because even though you know what probably will happen, the movie is weird enough that something completely crazy might happen instead. It's just good because it's different.
Let Me In
8/10
Finally finished this film. I thought it was great. I'm not sure if it was better than the original. In the original they weren't as obvious about things as in this one. I also liked the fact that it was more ambiguous to both character's genders. I do think the bully being more of a prick in this one is definitely good because you get a real sense of why the boy fears him. The pedo thing is still there. I felt very Chris Hanseny at some moments. It's still not as graphic as the book and perhaps that's a good thing. Like I said with The Lovely Bones, in film, you don't always have to go into huge detail for the audience to get what's going on.
Toy Story 3
7/10
I thought it was very well done, cute, but nothing we weren't expecting from the series.
Shake Hands With Danger
Technically not a movie, but a really amusing PSA done in the 1970s about safety precautions. It sounds like Johnny Cash is narrating it. It's very absurd. You can find it online on Spike and most likely Youtube also has it.
Waiting for Superman
8/10
From what I understand, Waiting for Superman isn't an entirely accurate or unbiased documentary. Which kinda explains the Best Documentary snub at the Oscars. BUT, that doesn't change the fact that the film is really powerful and addresses real issues within the education system. The last 10 minutes or so of the movie were just gut wrenching. I mean, just really hard to watch. Wouldn't have expected that from a film about teachers unions, education bureaucracy, etc. Brutal.
What happens during the last 10 minutes?
A Complete History of My Sexual Failures
First documentary I've ever seen that I enjoyed. I give it a 10/10. It was a humorous look at this dude's pathetic love life and his journey to fix all his problems. I really like how he had no problem poking fun at himself, and the crap he endures from interviewing all of his ex-girlfriends is commendable.
If you're thinking about checking it out be forewarned, he also has no problem showing his dong.
I think you mean Hot Chick.
I just recently watched:
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World 8/10
My dad and I laughed our asses off and were quite hooked on the fight scenes.
Toy Story 3 7/10
It's another Toy Story. I loved Latin Lover Buzz.
Despicable Me 10/10
So... damn... funny. I love seeing that guy get hurt in the beginning.
Last Airbender 7/10
I read reviews of the movie before watching it just to even out my expectations. My mom loved it. She says it's because she's easily entertained and yet, she didn't like Scott Pilgrim.
The Expendables 9/10
When I saw Stallone, Statham, Li, Willis, and Austin on the cover, I didn't know what to expect. I hadn't read any reviews (although I had heard some disappointing reactions) and I hadn't even seen any previews, so I did have high expectations. Despite the fact that Stallone looks awkward during some of his action sequence, I generally loved this movie.
How to Train Your Dragon 8/10
It was a nice movie, I really liked it. I liked toothless, it was a giant scaly cat.
It felt kind of short though.
