I'd say around 2002-2004. A lot of cool members aren't around anymore.

Ah, but you forget that there was a board reset back in late 2000/early 2001, and thousands of posts were lost. If those were factored in, you may be convinced that 2000-2001 was where all of the great members came from. ;)
