Been having fun so far, after about three hours of play. I'm digging Dee Jay and Juri, and of course gentleman Dudley. Freaking hate fighting Hakan though.

Is this stick official?

Yeah that's the TE stick, but just with a custom art skin.

NO~, Sagat got nerfed, to the point he's gonna get dropped a tier, two, let alone three!

I don't think they made him that bad, I mean he has angry scar now which boosts his attack power.

Sagat didn't get that weak. He kept everything except his damage and light kick cancel harassment more or less. I still see him being quite top tier and if for some reason he isn't it would be because of the new challengers that are much more diverse than the original SFIV cast.

Try forward HK x 2, Angry Scar into Uppercut..its still pretty sick.

Stay out of grab range. If you're close, she will grab you because that neck choke thing is one of her best moves. If you're fast you can poke out of it or counter-throw, since the throw itself is slower than a normal throw (when you're counting frames).

You can focus attack absorb the Hayate (dash punch), it is not an armour breaking move. Which sucks, it'd be perfect for that. In any case, just like a bigger grappler like Zangief, you want to keep some distance from her if you can. Otherwise, it's just a match you have to play a few times. Makoto is quite different from most of the cast.

I also play Makoto and i would just say have no fear when playing this matchup, her Karakusa is throwable (even EX). Normal Throws beat Karakusa, so if that person is plainly obvious in doing Karakusa setups like in 3S, just throw the bastard. They have to give you reason to start blocking before they can Karakusa you, otherwise you have no fear.

The only way it could be fearsome is if they Kara-Cancel it but you can probably still toss them. Also learn to block and tech all the throws. Its good to keep a clear mind when fighting Makoto and try to zone her out. She is only good up-close.

Basically, learn to block and throw more often. Treat every Karakusa as a normal throw and 'tech' it. Try conditioning the Makoto instead of letting her condition you into Karakusas. I don't think its that hard a match up for Juri. Mak just doesn't seem as strong as her 3S counterpart and has to be more tricky in this game to get in.
