Matra Magic? That'd have to be my guess. I think there's a monster that casts Laser earlier, but you don't have an Enemy Skill materia, then...
Yeah. Matra Magic from the Custom Sweeper. You couldn't learn laser from the 1st Ray in Reacter 1. Anyway, your question.
Speaking of Enemy Skills:
There's one Enemy Skill that completely heals all HP of one member of your party(and I think it uses only little MP too). What is that Enemy Skill and, for extra credit(:D) what is the enemy which you can learn it from?
One ES I haven't used that might do that is Angel Whisper, from the Pollensata in the Crater.

Hmmm....I seem to be thinking Ziedrich(sp?), the one you steal from....Rude. I just remember not using it because of no materia slots and I remember a really high defense(probably because it's bad for materia).

No, it's definately not Edincoat. I really do think it's the Ziedrich since I seem to remember only equipping it when I fought both the Weapons without materia....
