Most of them don't stick around anyway, so what's the point in adopting them?

Disable registration permanently, I say.

Can I adopt someone... I've only been registered for about 5 months, but I'm sensible & I know things... :D :p

So, how long is it until people stop being newbies? Is it a couple of months? :D
