Who is the best aeon

The best aeon'd have to be Yojimbo, 'cause Zanmoto is an infernal massacre-fest auto-kill on everything with few exceptions. If you factor in the manageability, though, it make just simply be on par with the others.

She actually. The Fayth of Anima is (SPOILER)Seymour's mother.

And I totally agree. Anima is not only the best FFX Aeon, but maybe the best summon ever. :eek:

Is it me, or is this the scariest looking thing(summon) ever? 1st time Seymour summoned it, I was like WTF? it frightened me to death, hell I've played Silent Hill 1 through 4 and I get scared here and there......but this Anima is like the darkest/grimmest thing I've seen in a FF.

so there are many people who liked Anima. I wonder why Anima is going down in summon elimination thread in general final fantasy.

The reason that Anima is so scary is she was influenced by the likes of H.R. Geiger and Hellraiser (IMO). Pretty dark stuff, but very very cool. :D

Her Fayth is so sad and tortured; she reminded me of Ariel, the spectral advisor in the Legacy of Kain games.

Anima also has one of the most extensive background story of any Aeon. Even Bahamut's Fayth, who gets more screen time, remains fairly enigmatic.

Anima, Magus Sisters and Shiva are mine.

Magus Sisters for me.I like the fact that they are hard to control and their overdrive is awesome!

Try Lady Y., Mortiphasms, underwater enemies, BFA and Yu Yevon. Of course, all bosses fought prior to the acquisition of Yojimbo cannot be Zanmato'd.

Are you sure on the first one?I think it is possible to do it although i haven't tried it.
You are right on the last one though.The story makes it impossible to use it.

And i see no point on why you can't use it on the other ones,except the underwater enemies for obvious reasons.

You can use Zanmato, but they won't die in one hit.
