Well, I didn't get to do much this week. I've added some items and put in some new enemies but, other than that, it's been a pretty slow crawl over the past seven days.

I would but i'm getting the same error messege that the other guy got. how did he fix it I wonder....
I think Cloudstrife4003 just followed the instructions that Rase posted to get it to work. Also, make sure that you're downloading the game and the player from the correct links. The game is linked in post #49 and the player is linked in post #56.
Now that I've taken a reasonable hiatus from this project to prevent an inevitable burnout, I'm back in the saddle. I will start updating weekly again starting next Wednesday probably.
EoFF references will make their way into the game soon enough so check back and I'll post screenshots of them. :)
Not an uber update but it's as good as I could do, being absorbed with FFXI and all. Added more skills, weapons, armor, and enemies as usual and tweaked some of the events from the demo. Also, I've found a couple switch problems after playing through it again. :eek:

By the way, where did you get the program to create this? I've always been interested in creating my own RPG.

I have plans to include two members of EoFF so far in this project. As soon as they materialize, I'll be sure to post screenshots of them in action. :p
When I try to play the game it says "RG55102E.dll could not found." I followed all the directions. :sad:
It seems a lot of people are having a little trouble with the game. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the differences in our computers or something else. :( Another member tried to download the things from other links within this thread and it worked for him. Well, I've got this thing kicking again after taking quite an extensive breather. I started working on the next areas and I'm going to try and go back to the earlier maps and add some interesting puzzles to add to their depth.

With this update, I've started messing around with scripts. I've added a new Active Time Battle system and changed the fonts and menus a little. Also, another area was added along with new enemies and skills for the characters as well as new opportunities for "fame" increases.

Through much mocking and constant reminders of deadlines ( :rolleyes2 ) I was able to birth the second chapter of Hero Spirits. So this post is to let anyone who played the first part and/or for those who didn't and are interested. Different battle system, customized windowskin, over 20 hours of "yay play time" as well as some real revelations as to what the hell is going on in the story. Like I've said before, don't expect anything too special and mind-blowing. This is just to keep me busy and to pump up my ego by saying that I made this game. I still have a long way to go but I'm setting goals for myself for each chapter now. Hopefully, that'll keep me kicking. Oh! Yes, yes... There are EoFF members in this one and there will be many more as more areas open up. Already got it worked out in the noggin.
