They don't care what they're doing to others as long as they're getting revenge. They want revenge and they will do anything to get it.

By myself in a torture chamber, if no one else is there to operate it can't be that dangerous.

Significant other. I don't like my friends.
One gun. One bullet. Room full of annoying people. Would you shoot the most annoying person, or yourself (to get away from them!)?
The most annoying person. Due to it being an enclosed space, coupled with the general reaction people have to gunfire, I am fairly sure me shooting whatever person would incite a riot. I would not have to commit suicide in order to get away from them all. Two birds, one stone.
