I actually made all the bricks separate, linked everyone's profile to their brick, and began stacking them. I was going to make the entire image, with the moon up top, but found out while trying to post my reply that there is a cap of a hundred images in post.

Maybe I will make a page on my site dedicated to the progress of this project. It is kind of fun.

UPDATE: The highly awesome and so-much-a-pirate-his-parents-were-a-plank-and-a-mainsail Mr. Her Majesty's Agent Umaro has now launched the brand spanking new Bridge to the Moon website, including all bricks and links to the profiles of the contributors to said bridge. The picture will thusly be hosted and updated there from now on.
