I've come second in this Ciddie so many times. It's great.

Let us now consider the finest veterans of EoFF. I was asked recently what it means to be a veteran these days, and this is an extremely valid question. dictionary.com states that a veteran is "a person who has served in the armed forces." That makes sense. However, Final Fantasy VI tells us a veteran is in fact a large floating eyeball with wings. You can see the discrepancy.

Up for consideration are some of the most well known members of EoFF never to be deemed worthy of any responsibility whatsoever. Just kidding, we love all of you. Veterans are great because they have stuck around to make this place fun without being forced to stay because of some silly title. For example, we have the famously hilarious brown man, Not At All Kyono. Resha and Squinn also have a good shot attaining glory. Everyone loves the fearsome Ryechotic, expert in all things Nelson Mandela. However, the winner may well be that fart-smelling silly man Levian, who heroically unraveled the Quina Question.

The last half-year has been a very hectic one for Site Staff. After our senior coders finally put together a working template for the new style, we began the recoding for the entire frontsite. Spatvark, Sepho, theundeadhero, Flying Mullet, Baloki and myself have all contributed towards this, while Samuraid has been busy creating all sorts of new features and improvements in the background of it all. Azar has been firing out news updates, eagerly trying to someday become the News Reporter with more news updates than even Cid himself. While we've lost a few members who have stepped down (at least for now), CloudDragon and Cloud_Strider have stated that they hope to be making a return sometime soon, and eternalshiva has been a welcome return to the image-fixing department.

I would not hesitate to say that Site Staff has never been a more efficient team as it is right now. We have short term goals - including the completion of the recoding to be done by Christmas - and long term goals, as well as projects such as the new FanArt section which are all being worked on simultaneously. Once the recoding is complete, we will be able to start working on all sorts of ideas we've been dreaming up for the past year or so, and I for one and very much looking forward to it.

Working alongside these guys is something I very much enjoy. They give something for nothing as it's a largely thankless job to work on the frontsite. Having said that, in my mind, these guys will always be right up there with the best of the best of Eyes on FF. They, quite literally, make this place what it is. Thank them for that. They deserve it. And now, I am honoured to present the Ciddie for Best Site Staff.

Will we see a continuation of the hat dominance?

Anyway, this award is one of the most interesting awards for the Ciddies. There are eleven nominees, all very worthy to win, but only one winner. The last two winners, er... rather winner was Leeza. However, this time, will she win a third straight? The last Cid's Knight to do so was Kawaii Ryûkishi, who is now currently an Administrator. There is no clear winner right away. Leeza may be able to win again, or we may see a newcomer win this, or even perhaps someone like Yamaneko or Del Murder. Whatever the case, I proudly will present the winner of Best Cid's Knight.[/q]
