Tears for Fears - Suffer the Children
Recently re-ripped their discography in FLAC after having only had low-quality mp3s for a long time. I'd forgotten how much I love this band. This is probably my least favourite of their albums and it's still better than 95% of the stuff that came out in the eighties. They managed to make each song special.

Bathory - Twilight of the Gods
Epic Swedish Viking metal. Bathory were basically the inventors of the genre of folk metal (alongside Skyclad) and there was a string of albums they released where seemingly they could do no wrong. Of course the pair of albums that followed this one were completely forgettable, but I guess that just goes to show that nobody's perfect.

ok that's probably not what the actual acronym is supposed to stand for but it's still funny.
I think this group and At the Drive-In have ruined post-hardcore for me because I keep expecting other groups in the genre to be this sophisticated and none of them are.
