Holy Crap!
Drill Dozer! Did any of you play this game when it came out? It was a really good sort of 'last game' for the GBA.
Someone in the gaming press informally described this game (Brawl) as a 'Nintendo orgasm all over your face'. I believe.

Super Metroid. The original LoZ. Ice Climbers... Even if they're just demos, this is awesome.
Oh, and it looks like at least Super Metroid will be a full game, including save functionality. So while we may not be able to reach the peak of the Ice Climbers mountain, we should be able to rid Zebes of Space Pirates once more.
I was under the impression that the Save thing in the Metroid screen is part of the trial itself. The caption on that pic says, "Some titles come with save data". This suggests that the saves are *already* there, and with SMetroid in particular you can choose to start the trial from the beginning, or from a gamesave that looks like it's from the end.
I... kind of find it a little redundant. But I guess it is good for people who want to see what the game was like. And as long as they didn't squish that in in favour of the veteran characters of Melee or anything else big they should've added (like Melee's Mute City stage or Pokefloats) I'll learn to like it.
I wonder if they'll have a demo of Fire Emblem. :D
I doubt they'll make a Fire Emblem 9 or 10 demo (it's too big and not a Virtual Console game like the other games they showed). But they might make a translated Fire Emblem 1 or 3 one (with Marth which'll practically mean he has to be in Brawl). :D
I wonder what they'll do for Mr. Game & Watch though...
Apparently they do have a demo for F.E., according to the Japanese Page. Also, an EarthBound demo. I don't get why EarthBound wouldn't be on the other pages, though. Oh well.
Normally being a retro gamer I would. But the fact that they're showing these kinds of extra things in Brawl and not the old things are making me start to hate them since it's almost as if they're trying to imply that they've removed the old things and are trying to replace them with these new things. I know that's most likely not the case but I can't help thinking it.
That practically confirms Marth and Ness' (although his return was already confirmed) return since I doubt they'd let you play Ness' or Marth's game to represent what Lucas' or Ike's games were like. :D
[QUOTE=Evastio;2409131]I don't think that confirms Marth. Firstly, we don't know if we'll even get that one in the US, because it was never translated. Secondly, Ike's games were on Gamecube (both in Japan) and the Wii. These are not games you can make as demos inside of something like Smash Bros. Hell, the new Fire Emblem is it's own Wii game in the US (was gamecube in Japan).
THE JACKEL
Radiant Dawn is a Wii title in Japan, too.
I doubt Ness is coming back, simply due to the fact that Lucas's move-set is extremely similar to Ness's move-set from Melee. If Ness does come back, I'm betting on an alternate costume, or just a new move-set.
As for Marth, well, he rocks, and it seems like the only move of Marth's that Ike really shares is the counter-move. The Up+B is similar, but Ike's goes back down, similarly to Kirby's. And the A moves are just entirely different. I think we'll be seeing a Fire Emblem character that is more similar to Marth/Roy. Or at least I hope so.
Ness has already been unofficially confirmed.
