I always like doing the creative speeches, because I think it's something that goes a bit under-appreciated in society. I believe we all have creativity inside of us. Maybe we can't draw the perfect picture or write the perfect poem, but we can contribute to the world in our own unique way. Use it. Use the little differences you have, whether you're a writer or a chemist. And while we're at it, let's not forget that the “typical” artists we often overlook have contributed to society in many meaningful ways. Cave paintings that help us learn where we came from, musical pieces and fairytales that help tell us where we've been. Let's show some appreciation for the artist in all of us. And, of course, the nominees.
