I've seen the first two Twillight movies. I can forgive it for many things: I'm the wrong demographic for what is essentially a series of romance novels involving the supernatural. What I can't abide is the insistence on plundering elements from both Romeo and Juliet and Wuthering Heights and completely missing the point that both are cautionary tales about young lovers acting recklessly and destroying their lives in the process.
Saw First Class. Overall a great film, up there with X2.

my sister drags me to twilight movies.. becaus she cant find anyone else to go xD haha

Went to see The Green Lantern. Depressingly average. Not a patch on Thor or X-Men.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get drug along to see The Hangover 2. I'm 90% certain it'll be the original movie set in Thailand. I hate when franchises recycle the movie plot and/or script almost word for word, joke for joke. :( Hopefully I'm wrong.

Due Date
6/10
I like the Galifinakis and the Downey.
I Saw the Devil
9/10
Quite possibly the best revenge film I've ever seen with exception to Kill Bill. It's Korean. It's intense. It's graphic. It's basically a game of cat and mouse or rather dog eat dog where a guy goes after the man who killed his pregnant wife, but instead of killing him, he sets him free so that he can catch him again and beat his ass. Definitely recommended. The guy who plays the killer is on Anton Chigur level of badass and creeper. He reminded me a bit of an Asian Harvey Keitel though. I think it was the slicked back hair.

Green Lantern
I liked it. I don't know if it was Hal (I know next to nothing about Green Lantern) or Ryan Renolds, but they made the show. Also the people making the movie had no idea where the Asteroid Belt, Planets, and the sun are in relation to each other. Oh well the Toy Story and HeMan references in the beginning made up for it.
8/10

Lord of the Rings The Return of the King Extended Edition
Yeah, those who know me don't really need a review. Lord of the Rings is awesome, and it was back in theaters as it prepared for the release of the Blu-Ray edition.

Watched X-Men: First Class with Danielle the other day, it was what you'd expect out of an X-Men movie for the most part, and nicely done. I liked the actors, I found it vaguely predictable, but enjoyed it all the same. I give it 4/5, although it's only because I use a /5 system rather than /10, at which point I'd give it a 7 rather than an 8. But either way, good movie and if you like the X-Men film series then this shouldn't be something to miss.
