One of the three women chosen by Dyshana in the third generation, Noah loves adventure and boldly travels when she hears about some hidden, scenic spot. Her impulsive nature often lands her in dangerous situations, but Noah's instincts have saved her on numerous occasions. She's picked up the odd scratch here and there, but proudly claims that a maiden can't avoid having a few scars on her skin. She supposedly has an intimate knowledge of her surroundings, but her sense of direction is somewhat lacking. Noah grew up in a foster home with a boy whom she treats as her younger brother, and she sets out for adventure so she can bring back stories to cheer him up. Noah has changed little since she left. She travels with Thoma simply because it sounds exciting.

Ashe was raised as the Princess of Dalmasca, the ninth, last and only daughter of the Dalmascan Royal Family. Her eight older brothers had died of illness or fallen in battle prior to the beginning of the game, making her the sole heir of her kingdom by the time of her marriage. She had a relatively easy early life, but was raised with the duties and responsibilities of her rank. Besides being raised in royal etiquette, Ashe was no stranger to the defensive arts.

Gwendolyn is the Valkyrie princess of Ragnanival, the youngest of two daughters of Demon Lord Odin. She is also the wife of the Shadow Knight Oswald. She is very loyal to her father and dreams of nothing more than gaining his approval, but as her story progresses she begins to realize that there is more to life than being an obedient soldier and eventually finds her true purpose.
