I did? Please, by all means, quote that from your logs, with the surrounding chat... PM me. I never said that, to my recollection. I even announced them with the votes included, just like I did for all the categories with only three nominees.

Thanks everyone for the awards... I know it's probably the last time I'm going to win the Most Productive Member Ciddie, for one thing. Most Ciddie's that have had the same member as a winner both times will be removed, although some will remain - such as Best Member - for obvious reasons. If someone's going to get voted Best Member three times in a row, they damn well must have earnt that status. Dr Unne, I salute you for your double win of the top award. *does so*

The following awards will be omitted for the prementioned reason in the next Ciddies (most likely):

Most Productive Member
Most Likely To... Be God, Be Satan, Go to Heaven (and thus Go to Hell).

Er... that's all I've noticed thus far. *shrugs* Tell me if I've missed anything, or if you have any objections. But hey - we have half a year. LOADS of time. Celebrate for now =D

Seriously, I have only been here for three months, and there's no way I could possibly be considered a better member than, say, Loony BoB or Citizen Bleys. I would recommend you drop the criticism, as that's actually the way I feel.

I don't understand what that means. You're getting rid of the categories that've had the same winner this time and the last time you held the awards? Is that what you mean? Why would you get rid of those?

Because Sean will always be God. Personally, I think it would get boring after awhile, not to mention predictable to the extreme. Why not introduce less rigid awards to replace the predictable ones?

I'd also like to point out that it irks me that members that have rarely posted in the last six months still receive awards. It makes these things seem a little 'cliquish'.

I propose that you have to have at least 100 posts in the last six months to be eligible for an award. Except for newbies, and Sean and Scottie since they run things.

Yes, Unne. I'm open to criticism - but I think that if we had the same winners over and over, the Ciddies wouldn't exactly be as highly anticipating. Or something.

Sugpo was an active member in the last six months, and that's how it's judged. Cy was also nominated.

Certainly. I thought that there was actually a policy amongst the staff not to even mention Sugpo, however, which is why I was surprised to see him allowed to win an award. But then, dr Unne is gay was banned too, so who knows.
