Yes, subsidies are bad. Using forceful methods to keep others out of business is bad too, but monopolies are not inherently bad, I still don't get that idea at all. Well, except for governmental monopolies, which are A) completely ineffective and B) legally enforced.

And how is America supposed to take care of 3/4 of Africa, 3/4 of the Middle East, North Korea, and half of South America at the same time? Whilst maintaining their other bases throughout the world? It'd probably take the entire United States to train as soldiers for their to be half as many people as would be needed. Besides which, if the US steps in to ANYWHERE for ANY reason, all people do is cry 'Imperialism' because the food packages have a US Flag on them and the medical vaccines were developed in the States.
