Nothing this game was easy with the proper junctioning, and Gilgamesh never appeared when I didn't want him to.
- Malboros, without a good junction
- The "Random" rule
- Selphie's Slots, if you want "The End"
- Omega Weapon's "Terra Break"
You never hear Doc. Odine speak! Final Fantasy VIII only had songs with spoken words not voice acting!Quote:

- How horribly done was the conversion of FFVIII to PC, making me experience horribly-rendered backdrops and an awful MIDI Synthetizer that made the perfect soundtrack of FF8 look like a GBA game soundtrack
- How I kept not being able to choose my favorite characters like Rinoa and Selphie
- How the saving system for the PC version was put together, exactly the same way as the PSX one, making me think alot if i was going to use a new slot for this part of it or not
- The annoying Black Widow in Dollet that kept chasing me, and just refusing to goddamn die
- The last dungeon, Ultimecias Castle... Your like, all deep into the story and then you have to run around a huge and confusing castles, being bothered over and over by stupid silly battles, making you fight the least bosses necessary, so you could hurry and go on with the game.
- How Squall was a jerk on the Ragnarok Air Room by not hugging Rinoa after like SUICIDING to see her again.
- The lame excuse Square invented to explain why the Orphanage Gang forgot everything. There was like no real reason, so why not blame it on the GFs? Though that didn't really screwed up the story
- How confusing Esthar can be when your looking for a contact point in the first time you play it
- How you keep wasting your time when Drawing and Casting magics so you can make sure your doing it on the right person, because the lame hand that shows who is going to be the target dissapears below the combat menus and the character HPs
- How quick the game can be, rushing it or not, the story is just small
- How the possibility of Square-Enix making a sequel can be small :(
But even after all of that, FFVIII is still my favorite Final Fantasy game and RPG game!
As mentioned Ruby dragons suck ass even more so than a marlboro (I can junction everyone properly so it wasn't an issue with those but Rubies do 9999 damage at level 100 and there is no saving you if you're junctioned for a marlboro on hell)
Hex dragons sucked a bit too since Flare was nasty to experience
The fact that the spider boss in Dollet could be completely destroyed (something someone once bragged to me so I checked it with the official guide) and yet however much I leveled up my thunder magic and Quezacotl's stats I could never do it! I had 50 Thundaga's (100 firaga to mag stat and 100 thundara to attack on squall) and couldn't do it even when casting the doubles I meticulously drew from the fight at the top of the tower....
Esthar being so huge and after the lunar cry the tube seats were replaced with monsters running across the city was annoying. Also Esthar was like massively huge and yet you could go in like 3 buildings, why? Also why couldn't you go back to the salt lake and fight more undead creatures? just because you find Esthar the area becomes useless.
The fact that sometimes I needed Magic stone pieces not the magic stones or wizard stones but M-stone piece and yet as early as disc 2 I couldn't get any from wild monsters only by carding the damn things and modding the cards.
A slight annoyance and yet one I loved to do was eradicating all but Open in every area of the game for Triple Triad, omg that was hard stuff to do but still made the card game a real walkthrough including on the rag on disc 4 as the CC club play by different regions rules meaning that Open was the only rule to worry about.
However though this game might have had me annoyed at times with a few things, I truly do love it it's easily one of my favourite games of all time so I shouldn't complain about it really.
I never had the trouble with Ruby Dragons, they were easily killed by me and that was with forgetting to junction one of the characters. The annoying thing to me is Griever's Great Attractor damn thing took so long for so little damage. And then fighting Final form of ultimecia where she only attacked me like once every 3 turns then uses Hells Judgement and brings down to zero and before i can use megalixer she used Ultima so i died but got lucky with the pheonix thing (don't know the name) and hoping i still had a chance i tried another megalixer and what do i know before i could use it another damn ultima and this time no second chance.
I still hate the accidental freeze up or something of the sort. That always pisses me off.
