I am just fine at fps's and I can even beat all of my friends, plus, I thinks its only reasonable that I live for 3 seconds.

So it's really Halo's small health and two hit kills?
Well if you've played the game on the versus mode you'd know it really is around two hits from a freakin launcher that blows a 'super-sophisticated suit that can repair itself from any kind of damage.'
Such a predictable thread, seriously.
Okay, I'll be the joker of the thread and say halo.

OH SNAP, IT'S ALREADY BEEN DONE COUNTLESS TIMES.
Ahem, most of the fifa series.
Final Fantasy (series): Not that it's bad by any means, but it's not THE rpg series, and in fact others do some things better. Western RPGs let you choose whether you want to be nice or be an ass, Suikoden gives you several types of combat (Duels and Wars in addition to regular battles), DW (7&8) and probably several other rpgs pwn FF in the exploration and puzzle depts. What FF does, it does well, but as a series (esp of late) it isn't even the best series out there anymore.
Chrono Cross: The combat in CC is horrible. You get to attack, but you have to choose your level of attack. What this really means is you can do a weak ass attack every turn or do a strong attack and then sit there with your pants down for the next three turns. Magic is even worse, other than one magic spell, you can only cast each one 1 time. That truely stinks when you have to defeat a boss using magic.
Something like this:
Chrono: Casts explosion
999 Damage
Chrono: *trys to cast explosion again*
Gamer: Hey what gives *dies*
FFT: Well, as I call it FF:Hit the reset button. Half of the time I'd lose a level 20 character I'd spent a month on in a random combat zone, so I'd have to reset, reload the game, and try to level up my characters again.
And what one bad review said is true -- it isn't really strategic, most battles follow the same path: surround one enemy, kill it, and surround the next enemy. You only have 5 characters at a time, and for most battles, there were classes that were impossible to level up (BM,WM, Summoner, and TM being the worst). Sometimes it took 3-4 turns to get mr. Mage to cast a level one spell. That was somewhat easy to get around. Just have the mage be a Chemist throwing potions on everybody. But it seems that I ought to be able to do some combat with a black mage.
MMORPGs in general are overrated as well. Most of them restrict you to a very small area in the early going (I think LVL 10 to leave the starting area is pretty common), which negates exploring. The "quests" are mostly fetch quests or escort quests. And for most quests, it's a heck of a lot easier to pay $500gil for the item than to try to find the one monster with the item, wait for it to spawn, and pray to every god you know that some level 300 jackass doesn't kill it before you even get a chance to -- because in some games it can take 15-30 minutes before the monster respawns. Add to that the absurd amount of time you need to spend online (you have to stay at a similar level to your party, after all), and MMOs seem more like work than play.
Some people think that final fantasy x was the best in the series, of course they r all on drugs. The only good thing about that game was the graphical leap and the control of the aeons, that was sweet. The hero acts like a little b*tch and looks like a girl, ff10 would have to be the most overrated game next to the halo franchise and elder scrolls oblivion
Elder Scrolls Oblivion, overrated *Sharpens Steel Katana*
Enguard! Before we start a small warning I'm a Journeymen Swordsman!
50 Cent - Bulletproof :rolleyes2
(Not that i bought that crap though.)
I'd say GTA: San Andreas, FF7 and FFX. Too much hype and going on about them like their the dogs b******s. they may be to some, but they arent that great to me.
Halo Series, Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario Kart DS.
Resident Evil 4 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
I don't even think Final Fantasy VII can be considered overrated anymore, it seems to get more hate that love these days...
