eternalshiva, by definition, is an oxymoronic name. After all Shiva is a Hindu God, and thusly eternal by default. Nevertheless that hasn't stopped this young lady from contributing plenty to our front page. Whether it's the whole shebang or some simple pics, eternalshiva gets the job done. Though perhaps not as noticeable or commanding a prescence as some of our other members, those who know her enjoy her company at the same level as a big pile of warm buttery toast, or even luke-warm buttery crumpets. Who's to say what's real in the big wide world of breakast similies? When not tirelessly churning out content she can be found trampling around Vana'diel, and is even awesome enough to have levelled a Red Mage to 75. If that isn't reason enough to give her a ciddie I don't know what is.

Flying Mullet conjures up for many of us two images; either an 80's hairdo soaring gleefully in the air or dirty mind things that Jebus frowns upon (you there, stop that!). His claims to being 110% awesomesauce may be mathematically unsound but they're certainly not based in untruthiness. With a love of Final Fantasy 6 that borders on the stalkerish, his depth of knowledge of all things pixel-based knows some limits, but those limits are pretty darned big. He's also the creator of a rather obscure Javascript game where you too can live out your dreams and violently murder most of the members of the forums. Such is the great work this man has performed. If you feel like bothering him when he wins/when he loses, you can sometimes poke, slap, tickle and fondle him (if you're so inclined) in the chat room to yours or his hearts content.

Renmiri's username is difficult to make a joke for. The best I could think of was it being the Russian name for Ren and Stimpy. Anyways, The Renmulator is the youngest of the Site Staff in terms of join date, but her contribution in that short time is nothing to be sniffed at. Her main interest is in the world of Spira, with numerous articles and pages spread evenly across the internet like so much jam. Not only that but she's a well-known celebrity (if that's a good thing round these parts) on the forums, with her posting style reminiscent of an excited kitten with a pink bow wrapped in Christmas lights. She also spends an inordinately large amount of time in the Final Fantasy 12 forums, which probably mean's she's slightly crazy since no one likes Final Fantasy 12. Honestly, it's true, the hell you looking at me like that for?

Spatvark, with a name that sounds like some obscure Australian creature that gobs in ant-hills, is our last contender. As old as the hills and with a snazzy green title to prove it, Spatty is perhaps the least seen member of the Site Staff. But this just adds to his mystery, and is a mere ruse to cover over his intrepid work. There are many projects that Varkness has been involved with or even started, but with his hand in so many pies like some kind of rampant pastry thief it's difficult to discern just what is his and what isn't. Still, his continued endeavours are a welcome addition to our community. While his generally sour and negative outlook on life and even EoFF itself may rub some up the wrong way, he still commands respect amongst many of the older members, especially those involved behind-the-scenes.

So, it is with a palpable sense of semi-excitedness that I hand you over to the results of this four horse race. Not that the Site Staff are equidaeous per say, but I have seen them running around in circles on the dirt track out the back. Honestly, it's true, the hell you looking at me like that for?

Finally, in December of 2003 the good doctor fell back to 5th place, with Loony BoB taking his first win. The following Ciddies he lost it to Del Murder, before coming back and taking it in the next four Ciddies, tying BoB with Dr Unne, only without the streak. One year ago some people everyone watched eagerly to BoB would join Unne on a five win streak and overcome him in total takes of it, but many were shocked when Christmas took the Best Member prize instead. Last Ciddies the nominations were a bit of a surprise, with only Levian and Psychotic representing the staff, and while both put up good fights Christmas grabbed the Ciddie again. This year we see a fairly even split (five staff and four members), and with Christmas not up there are plenty of chances for mix-ups here. Will BoB come back and finally overtake Unne in the number of Best Member Ciddies, or will someone else rise up and take it from him? Before we get to the actual award (and to buy AG some down time while you read the rest of this), here’s some info regard your nominees, courtesy of the always charming Psychotic.

I remember when foa joined EoFF. I thought she seemed cool and sent her an AIM message, and my opinion of her was not dampened by her pale green font on a black background. Then, in the ultimate heresy, she sides with BoB in the elections, with his precious Newbie Party. And you know, she wins. Although at the time, BoB called her a he. Such humble beginnings. Now she's developed into a cuddly Cid's Knight...until you cross her, and then she isn't afraid to speak her mind.

Giddy Goldenboko Gallops Gaily around General Chat, Greeting Gamers. Goes Giddy for his Girl, Giggling Gently. Gangrene? Gonorrhea? GASTRONITIS? Get out!

I like Goldenboko. I do. He's just so young, raw, and innocent. He's the future of Eyes on FF, and he's everything good about it. You might find him annoying; don't. He just really likes this place and wants to have a lot of fun. If that's so wrong, then I don't want to be right. Recently he's got together with Leen-Leen - bloody took you long enough, man - and they are just *so adorable* (I know I said this in Cutest Couple but it's so true!) To end, I think you might see him with a Cid's Knight title under his name in five years time. ;)

I remember when he joined EoFF originally as Recirculatory System, because some other FF forum he frequented had collapsed. Actually I just checked. The account is still bloody there. I thought it had been merged! Get to it! And he hooked up with us BAoTWers, for a low low fee of...well I don't know but he seemed impressed at the time. Then, nothing. He was gone. Then he came back with this sucker of an account. At the time he was making really strange and confusing posts, like he wanted to, horror of horrors, mess with the good people of EoFF! Now I think he's dropped that - to a degree! - and is posting as himself, and evidently we like him for who he is because of this nomination.

I used up my Monica anecdote on last year's Highwind so I'm kind of screwed for this one. Nobody on Staff is likely to forgive him for leaving us anytime soon, because he was undoubtedly one of the best we had, and was definitely well liked by the people of EoFF. He was, of course, Award Guy in the last Ciddies, and gave it his all and gave us a spectacular show. And since then he has brought the game of Mafia to EoFF, which we've all had such good times with. (Well, I have) It seems old Levian will be toning down his EoFF appearances for the immediate future, and it's a damn shame.

Has returned, and has returned with an almighty bang. Responsible for the hugely successful Best Movie in the Universe Thread and Picture Thread of Love, he also happened to put an ungodly amount of work into a little contest called the Ciddies. You may have heard of it. Oh, and apparently he does some stuff for the forums, frontsite and chat but I dunno, it's just a rumour.

I feel that every time mr. hero is deployed to Iraq (even if certain former Cid's Knights have doubts that he is actually in Iraq!) EoFF collectively holds its breath, hoping for his safe return. I know I am one of them. hero loves EoFF. Absolutely loves the place...although he does call it EOFF instead of EoFF, for which he earns my undying hatred! He's given so much to this bloody website over the years, and he was finally rewarded with a blue title in the most recent round of knightings. TOOK YOU OTHER STAFF IDIOTS LONG ENOUGH. hero's the kind of guy you know who will be at EoFF for many years to come, and I think his presence here will make those years so much more awesome.
