I left this game behind forever ago, frustrated and soulless... I picked it up again about two weeks ago and finally beat the smurfer. Nothing special to those who play it religiously but I'm pretty proud of my Lvl. 101 Greatsword/Faith knight; beat Gywn Lord of Cinder with the Cursed Greatsword of Artorias+5, Black Knight Shield+5, Silver Knight Armor+3, and the Dark Wood Grain Ring, Ring of Favor and Protection.
I was so happy just to beat the game. :kakapo:

The hype for 2 is at an all time high and I'm fighting the urge to watch the new IGN video's, Vaati's commentary and updates on the wiki. So far I'm still pretty much spoiler free so I think it'll be worth it but man I haven't been so hyped for a new game bound to get released since GTA Vice City.
So, I may be picking up a fairly cheap PS3 on thursday from a friend.
HAHA, prepare the duct tape... I'm gonna need it for all the controllers that DkS2 will hopefully make me break.
I'm pretty much going to cut off Youtube completely until i've gone through the story once in DkS2. Then i'll probably spend 24hrs looking up all the stuff I missed.. And all the glitches everyone has found. Ha!Quote:

On a positive note, I managed to beat a flipping divine blessing user by knocking him off a ledge followed by a plunge attack. It was a well needed highlight in between getting roasted like proper dragon food.
Another highlight: got invaded by a hacker on the red dragon bridge. He had infinite health and whipped out the karmic justice explosion hack. I ran to the part underneath the bridge and failed to knock him off with WoG. He tried to do the same. After landing 3 hornet backstabs he was on the very edge and fortunately he rolled himself off. So, about that PS3 I was going to buy.
The dude I was going to buy it from bailed on me sadly... so yeah, still no console to play it on.
Well last night I noticed that full walkthroughs of DkS2 are on Youtube now, including boss names and other spoilers in the titles. No more internet for me for a while! Two days until release day, then seven days off work :D
