To be fair, the BBC website forums are littered with idiots on every subject from politics to football, it's a breeding ground for morons so I wouldn't worry too much what they spout on there. Unless you mean the BBC pundits on TV in which case.... well actually they're morons too (except Martin O'Neill) XD - so yeah they're best ignored too.
As a final note, France kept Domenech as manager, clearly indicating that they are totally insane.

Martin O'Neill was one of the principle reasons why the BBC coverage was much better than ITV's.
