This has been on my DA account for some time, but since it's Final Fantasy-related, and it's been made during my hiatus, I figured it wouldn't hurt to post it here. So here she is: Yuffie!!! http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3...ykoshiawj9.jpg
This was made as a fanart for Enkida and her webcomic Growth, which is an AU FF 7 doujinshi following Yuffie, Vincent and Nanaki 3 years after Meteor. Check it out! It's cool!
Anyway, comments?
Crazy legs. Er, questionable fashion sense.
Otherwise, it's wonderful. The anatomy above the stockings is very good, and the coloring is adept throughout, as usual.
It's fabbylicious. The colours are very vivid, it's very much a Yuffie piece.
I agree with Kishi fully on this one.
i dont get the eyes (i mean there not really asian) but other than that i see damn fine work
I love art, so I had to welcome myself to this place by 1st posting in art ! Im working on becoming an art teacher.
The name is helena....or helen .
Oh how splendid ! She looks so carefree and comfortable with herself. Awe to be young again. It is a bit sexy in that way but also in retrospect that she has a manly jaw and her teeth are clenched in a tight restricting smile, it is a tuff smile, not big or large but restricted, controlled and displayed with pride, ego .
Her eyes ,a perfect color ,for they appear direct and sharp , meaningful .The inner color is dark but the outer is more sensitive and filled in a larger space of symmetry ,and colored more brightly. This gives the sense of a woman's sight wrapped around an inner warrior, the color choice is brilliant.
You go from a dark color to a grayish blue to white, it provides such a sense of the above.
The choice of pink and purple on the furthest outward extending objects, is charming as well , the breast and boots for they are the most challenging and life like objects, they must be always a bit more round than the flatter rounder objects following behind. Your choice of purple and pink evades us in a manner that she is coming forth as all girl but is reversed as a manly warrior.
The coloring shading is darn fine .
Now for the negative
The left arm is a bit too short in my opinion,
The right leg seems to be broken near the bottom of its positioning
To be honest with you , both legs seem to be a little off.
If she were standing straight, her arms would not reach down the correct distance when extended to the side of her body.
The back ground is beautiful
Looking towards seeing more work, I hope you find my insights helpful :)
Onto more art !
Nice to meet you all  (I love that smile already !)
The left arm looks just a bit short, but other than that it's pretty marvelous. Good job.
Her left arm was supposed to be in perspective, but I didn't pull it with the shading. é_č
As for her legs, I always knew they were off. After retrying to draw them, like, 15727 times I just gave it up. Anatomy WTF!
Thanks for the comments!!!
Sexy!!!
Yeah, all I have to say is her left arm and her left leg, but an awesome job anyway! :D
Celes the way I imagined her to be during her days in the Empire.
I had to redraw her hands and part of her sword in Photoshop, and her face too, and still I'm not completely satisfied. I started it more than one year and a half ago, so you can see it's been around for quite a long while. The pic can be considered as unfinished, in that I'd like to give it a background, but I don't really know what. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not a fan of the "transparent hair" thing, and I'm not sure her right (our left) arm is positioned correctly, considering where the shoulder is. Other than that, it's a decent picture.
As for a background, if it's supposed to represent her career in the Empire, I think Vector would be suitable.
Yep, as I said I tried to redraw her arm, but it still came wrong. I like the colorin tough, I was doodling in Painter and I think it's not too bad in the end considering I was very careless when I begun.
Really great picture. I love her eyes, and the whole head in general. You've captured great emotion in her face. As for her left arm, it does not look correct, but as this is deemed unfinished all can be worked on. All in all, great stuff. The quality of the line & colour is really impressive.
Good to see you back posting your art. :monster:
