It almost makes me think of the path to ultima, but that doesnt make sense...

3 towns on the water: zanarkand, luca, bevelle....
but that makes no sense...
twice lulu visited the chamber of yojimbo and lost her first summoner.... no....
3 were built to prevent sacrifice..
OH! Three times the Al Bhed built robots to kidnap Yuna, two times they fail, but on the third time they succeed
