Haha pretty good 1, 2, and 3 on that one, not really much to complain about. And Wolf's critique of KoTR has me extremely excited for lunch time!!! I might time myself by summoning the Knights to see how fast i can make a sandwich!!!

Devour gives you stat boosts! Stat boosts! But FFXII Float is pretty.
Having a spell named Ultima pretty much guarantees it to be awesome.
HEY!!! I didn't just vote for any old Ultima spell, I voted for Kuja's Ultima (which is clearly superior) any other Ultima's are just poor imitations.
Confession time!
That's right folks: I don't hate everything about FFVIII. Just the parts that aren't Quezacotl. I'm kind of surprised WK didn't call me on it to be honest.Quote:

Starting with third place we had a three way tie between:
Figaro Castle (2 votes)
Attachment 35136
Giant castle that can travel underground? Lecherous young king who hits on anything with boobs and a pulse (pulse optional)? Yet another monster that reminds me of tentacle rape hiding in the basement? Hell yeah!
Midgard (2 Votes)
Attachment 35137
Hard to top a giant city with a deathtrap of an upper level that can (and often does) fall at any moment.
Palomporom (2 votes)

...
You people suck.
In second place we had another tie between:
Lindblum (3 Votes)

Ok, so apparently if you want to top a giant smurfing pizza, you do it with a city built into the top of a mountain and filled with airships powered by the souls of the dead. I approve. :kakapo:
Esthar (3 votes wtf?)
Attachment 35140
That wtf is Wolf's, and I have to agree. The only thing more annoying than looking at this eyesore of a city is trying to find your way around it. Seriously people, see an optometrist. For all our sakes.
And finally, in first place we have:
Bhujerba (4 votes)
Attachment 35141
I have to say I'm surprised. Not that Bhujerba would get votes, because frankly, just about any city in FFXII was absolutely beautiful to look at, fun to explore, and filled with so many NPC's that they really came alive more than in any FF title in history. I'm surprised because four people on these forums actually voted for FFXII. Congratulations, you managed to not totally cock this one up.
Keep this up and I might forgive you for voting X-2 for best cast design.Quote:

Also, for anyone interested NaNoWriMo starts next week. There's a thread about it in the writing forum. If you're worried about checking it out because you think Shlup might be there, don't be. Everyone knows she can't write.
Next time, we'll finish this sucker up proper, so bring your booze, guns, and whatever hard drugs you can find in your parents medicine cabinets. :kakapo:
^ Daguerro's kinda all by its lonesome, on top of a plateau, in a cave with a waterfall. It had all these pulleys and levers to complete a sidequest. Was kind of like a giant library, too. Ringing any bells? Ah, screw it...
But damn I really blacked out on this question because we ended up having some good choices. Bhujerba was a good one, although I feel its architecture kinda blended together with all the other towns in FXII... Yay, heavily repeated textures!
Joking!
I seriously can't believe Palumpolum, though. To think any of the towns in FFXIII got a vote is somewhat foreseeable. But for two people to choose one seems as probable as getting abducted by lightning or struck by aliens... I think.
I can't believe we're coming to the last one. I'm gettin kinda teary-eyed!
It will be time for the next census by the time this is over.
I forget what I voted, but I have a feeling it was South Figaro. Having been exposed to IV's towns first, I was thrilled with first encountering South Figaro and then working through it in Locke's little story. Actual castles do not count as towns, so screw Figaro Castle.
Palumpolum was the only city I remembered the name of, and Jess is right, it WAS a very pretty city cmon how can you say you wouldn't want to live in a city that looked like this:

Yeah, but it was less thrilling the time you breezed through with a brat on your heels and machine gun hovercycles in tow.
