It wasn't always what people think of it as now. If you have ever had real Ramen noodles from a Japanese resturant or a Chinese resturant that still serves it, the you would know how much better it is.

Which is exactly why i say as long as its not the instant ones ^^ Watch Naruto for REAL ramen. BTW Naruto seems to be the only one with any real interest that is episodic to me even though i only download the manga.

We're not trying to convert, jusst trying to share opinions.
Your not gonna get blasted, and people should just nurse there own opinions, not try and cause distress to those who argue back when faced with such a situation.

(SPOILER)I think that the creatures in the anime movies arent human but are more likely just some freakish cyclops drawings on paper, made by people who know that such an artform mixes perfectly with the fantasy genre which little and big nerds and dreamers adore

I used to watch a load of anime. Even anime I didn't take an interest in, I either bought it or rented it.

I really don't care for anime series that much any more. I'd rather read Manga. Not sure why, it just appeals to me more. I'll watch the occasional Anime movie every now and then, but I usually get bored before it ends, unless it's really good.

Also, when I stopped buying anime, I noticed I saved up alot more cash to spend on video games/CDs. ;)

If you don't like it thats fine. Personally, I think you're stereotyping. Cartoon Network ony shows crappy anime like Pokemon. Not all anime has people with big eyes and spikey hair and virtually no plot. Check out anything by Miyazaki and you'll know what I'm talking about (like Spirited Away and Grave of the Fireflies). Cool stuff.
