and well, the non-linier story mode is nice, never experienced anything quite like it before in this type of genre.

Well, I'd rather pick a great game with awesome extras ( tekken 1-3 ) than a Good game with alot of crap extras....
I seems like I hate SC or something, I dont btw.....

Tekken is neat.

In my opinion

Soul Edge > Tekken
Tekken 2 > Soul Edge
Soul Calibur = Tekken 3
Soul Calibur 2 > Tekken 4
Tekken 5 > Soul Calibur 2
Tekken 5 > Soul Calibur 3

A big fanbase doesn't really mean much. Enter the Matrix outsold Soul Calibur 1. I'm going to assume you don't think ETM is better than SC.

I think ETM sold well because "Matrix" was in the title. I can sanely say that ETM is not better than SC. I wasnt saying the fanbase thing as it is a fact that Tekken is better, I was just saying in general that Tekken outsold SC

I'm not, but I would assume it applies. I wasn't trying to put words in anyone's mouth, though. It's just the general opinion among gamers that ETM was garbage. If you do like it, though, go for it.

Then why did you say it? I was under the impression that this was a discussion about which is better.

I was just saying that more people like Tekken than SC.

Sure. I can point you to a website full of people that prefer SC. And I'm sure you can do the same for Tekken.
