Now I'm certain many of us have noticed the parallels between these two and wondered... "who is better?"
Both have a Snake totem thing going for them, both were child prodigies, both seek revenge against the place they grew up in, both are nearly immortal, and both have a rather pedophilic obsession with certain effeminate boys in their respective stories.
So who would actually win in a battle to the death and which is actually superior as a character in a literary sense?
And both have the ability to use other peoples bodies too.
Considering how i think that even Rock Lee (yes the 'muggle') could beat Voldemort (and any other wizard) i'd have to go with Orochimaru
I'd have to say Orochimaru, but I think there are a few Naruto characters that would get the better of Voldemort in a fight to the death.

Considering how, without his wand, Voldemort is as strong as an average human (probably weaker than average, as he doesn't have much need for physical strength), I'd have to say Orochimaru. His Horcruxes do nothing but prevent death, and would not protect him from being beaten to a bloody pulp.

I was being specific to pretty much all of the ninja from the hidden village of sound. Dosu, Zaku, Kin, Tayuya, Kidomaru, Ukon/Sakon, That fat one (I think his name was Jiroubo or something), Kimimaru, those clan guys from the filler arc (I forget the names), and uhhh, yeah, all dead.
